EB-5 via and E2 visa both requires you to invest you money to get the U.S. visa. Although EB-5 visa leads the investor to get U.S. green card, E-2 visa is a non-immigrant visa and will not end up to a green card by itself. In both cases it is possible to invest into your own business and apply for the the visa. But here are some reasons that makes it difficult for people to find the right business to invest:

  1. Finding the suitable business while the investors are outside of the U.S. is very difficult.
  2. The investors (most of the time) are not familiar with business culture in the U.S.
  3. The investors have no one to support or assistance them in in starting their business in the U.S.

WE SUGGEST A FRANCHISE BUSINESS FOR YOUR EB5 VISA | E2 Visa.

WHY Investing in a FRANCHISE FOR YOUR EB-5 Visa or E2 Visa Instead of starting your own business?

FRANCHISE IS A TURNKEY BUSINESS

There are many foreign aliens who have been really successful in their countries. But when it comes to starting a business in the U.S. they don’t know how to establish their new business in the U.S.. Buying a good franchise eliminates almost all the hard work for these people:

  • finding a location
  • negotiating a lease
  • hiring reliable contractors
  • Accessing to suppliers
  • Making a brand name

FRANCHISE IS A PROVEN SYSTEM

When you buy a franchise, you buy a system. All franchises have an already-established system in place that you must follow. These systems are designed to improve the overall productivity and increase sales of each franchise. Having a proven system already in place eliminates the guesswork and errors a common business owner would normally face.

FRANCHISE HAS A HIGHER SUCCESS RATE

Buying a franchise is very different from starting a mom-and-pop business. Since there is an already established system in place, there is a higher likelihood of success. If you follow the system the franchisor has put in place, you should be on your way to running a very successful business.

FRANCHISE PROVIDES TRAINING AND SUPPORT

Most franchise companies offer a 1-4 week training program that is usually held at their corporate offices or at an actual franchise location. This is what makes franchises stand out from every other business or business opportunity. The franchisor will train you to run your franchise exactly the same way their other franchise locations are run. This will ensure that you are running your business efficiently and will help to eliminate any common mistakes a new business owner usually faces. Also you will always have the support of the franchisor and the support of knowing you are part of a growing family. You will always be able to pick up the phone and ask questions to the franchisor or even to other franchisees.

BRAND AWARENESS

If you buy into a franchise system that is already established, the corporate image and brand awareness is already recognized. Customers are usually more comfortable purchasing items they are familiar with and working with companies they already know and trust.

MARKETING

A good marketing is the key for success of your business in the U.S.A. There is usually no need to worry about advertising your franchise. The franchisor usually takes care of handling all of the marketing. If the franchisor does not handle the marketing, they will have an outline for you to follow and sometimes specific vendors that will have systems in place for you to use.

The Wall Street Journal  reported data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in 2013 shows 6,343 foreign nationals applied to the EB-5 program, up from just 470 in 2006. The agency estimates that as of September 2013, the program has raised more than $8.6 billion and has created some 57,300 jobs.

Follow your dream…take one step at a time and don‘t settle for less, just continue to climb.

Follow your dream…if you stumble don’t stop and lose sight of your goal, press on to the top.

For only on top can we see the whole view, can we see what we’ve done

Press on, and follow your dream.

AMANDA BRADLEY

Martha Matilda Harper is known as the mother of franchising in the United States. She started the first franchise in women hair salon industry  in Chicago, 1893.

Under the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Franchise Rule, a franchise has the following three elements:

  1. Trademark. The franchisee is given the right to distribute goods and services that bear the franchisor’s trademark, service mark, trade name, logo, or other commercial symbol.
  2. Significant Control or Assistance. The franchisor has significant control of, or provides significance to the franchisee’s method of operation. Examples of significant control or assistance include:
    • using the approved list of vendors
    • using franchisor’s operating manuals
    • using the franchisor’s approved plan and layout for the store
    • number of operation hours
    • following franchisor’s best practices in operating the business
  3. Required Payment. The franchisee is required to pay the franchisor (or an affiliate of the franchisor) at least US$500 either before (or within 6 months after) opening for business.

Some states have their own definition of franchise and also their own laws and regulations which must be followed by franchises if they want to operate in those states.

Nowadays, franchising has transformed into a huge market in the United States and many other parts of the world.

Franchises has helped many Americans to build their dreams in the past and present time. Franchise businesses have helped them to become business owners and their own boss. A good franchise is a proven system that has been in place in many locations. As a result, franchises have higher rate of success. According to previous research conducted by the International Franchise Association, more than 90 percent of franchisees renew their agreements at the end of their contracts. If they weren’t successful in their business, they wouldn’t renew their contracts.

We have firm reasons that investing in a franchise can be a very good solution for E2 visa investors to get their E2 visa and come to the United States. Contact us for more information on various E2 visa franchise opportunities.
